What we collect when you visit this site or get in touch, what we do with it, and how to ask us about it. Written to be read.
AWho we are
Inkstone IT is a trading name of Prismata Pty Ltd, ABN 81 693 597 125. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy covers information collected through this website and when you contact us. It doesn’t cover information we handle for clients in the course of providing our services — that is set out in each client’s service agreement.
BWhat we collect
- When you call. Your name, your firm, your phone number and what prompted the call. The number you call from is recorded automatically.
- When you email. Whatever you choose to include.
- When you visit the site. Information about how it’s used — pages viewed, how you arrived, and your device and browser type — collected through cookies. See section G.
We don’t ask for sensitive information, and we’d ask you not to send any.
CHow we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to arrange and hold a conversation about our services, and to understand which of our pages and advertising are working. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it to market unrelated products to you.
DWho we share it with
The service providers who help us run the business: a call answering service that takes calls on our behalf, our telephone provider, our email and website hosting providers, and Google, which provides our analytics and advertising measurement. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
EOverseas
This website is hosted in Sydney, and our call answering and telephone providers are in Australia. Google may store and process website analytics and email data outside Australia, including in the United States.
FSecurity and retention
Access to enquiry details is limited to the people who need it to respond. We keep them only as long as we need them to follow up, and delete them when we no longer do.
GCookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. Both set cookies to measure visits, and whether an advertisement led to a call or an email. They don’t identify you by name.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, and Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
HAccess, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch and we’ll respond within thirty days.
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, tell us first and we’ll deal with it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
