Published, per seat, per month

What it costs, before you ask us.

You give clients a costs agreement before work starts. We think your IT provider owes you the same. So the schedule is on the website rather than in a proposal: two monthly rates, each the whole number with the Microsoft licence, phones and backup inside it, and onsite attendance charged separately at a rate you can see. Month to month, thirty days’ notice, no lock-in.

Schedule 1 — Fixed costs disclosure

Illustrative until launch
ItemBasisRate ex GST
Managed IT
Unlimited helpdesk, answered by a person with a time for the next update · Microsoft 365 Business Premium licence for every user · telephony with unlimited calls · device management and patching · practice management support — LEAP and Smokeball in-application, Actionstep and PEXA environment and escalation · Microsoft 365 backup, tested by restoring · and a quarterly thirty-minute review with the principal: what’s running, licences against headcount, what’s renewing, one recommendation.
Per user, monthly $220
Managed IT + Monitoring
Everything above, plus a monitored security operations service — your firm’s security alerts watched outside business hours, rather than waiting in a console until the morning.
Per user, monthly $250
Onsite attendance
Where a fault can’t be resolved remotely. Quoted and agreed before anyone is dispatched — never billed by surprise. Technicians in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide; everywhere else in Australia is remote only.
Per hour, 30 min minimum $100
The monthly rate is the whole monthly rate. Licence, phones, backup and support in one number — compare like with like, because an advertised rate that excludes the Microsoft licence, telephony and backup is a different number than it appears.
Terms. Month to month. Thirty days’ notice in writing, either way. No minimum term, no exit fee. Invoiced monthly in advance on the seat count at the start of the month.
Charged separately. Onsite attendance, as above. Hardware at cost, shown as cost. Third-party subscriptions outside the Microsoft 365 licence — your practice management system, for instance — stay on your own account. Project work such as a server retirement, an office move or a migration is quoted in advance or it isn’t done.

Nothing on this page is a number you find out later.

Questions we are asked about the schedule

What counts as a user?
A person with a mailbox who uses a computer for work — principals, solicitors, paralegals, reception. Not a shared mailbox, not a meeting-room screen, not a former employee’s archived account.
How do we choose between the two rates?
The first line is the whole service. The second adds one thing: someone watching your security alerts outside business hours instead of them sitting in a console until morning. If that gap matters to you, it’s $30 a seat. If it doesn’t, take the first rate — we’d rather tell you that than sell you the larger number.
Is the helpdesk really unlimited?
Yes, for the systems in the schedule. We don’t meter tickets or minutes — a provider who bills by the ticket is a provider you avoid calling, which is how small problems become large ones.
How quickly do you respond?
A person takes your request and tells you when you’ll next hear from them — and that update arrives at the time given, whether or not there is news. We publish the response target in your service agreement rather than on this page, because a number on a website commits nobody. The one in your agreement does.
How does billing work when we grow?
Seats are counted at the start of each month and invoiced in advance. Add someone mid-month and they’re billed from the following month; a departure reduces the next invoice. No pro-rata arithmetic to check.
What happens if we leave?
Thirty days’ notice, and we hand over documentation and credentials to you or your next provider against a checklist. No exit fee, and no retained control of your domain or tenancy — they were always yours.
Why is your rate higher than some advertised prices?
Because it’s the whole number. Advertised rates in this market commonly exclude the Microsoft licence, telephony and backup, and often include a fixed number of support hours and a twelve-month lock-in. Ask any provider for their all-in monthly figure per user with no minimum term, and compare that instead.
Why “illustrative until launch”?
Because the supplier schedule underneath these rates is in final confirmation. We’d rather show the number we expect to hold, and say why it might move, than show no schedule at all. When it lands, these become the published rates and this note goes.

Worked example

A six-person firm: 6 × $220 = $1,320 per month ex GST — licences, phones, backup and support, in one line on your P&L. With monitoring, $1,500. No lock-in, thirty days’ notice.

Start with a conversation. Decide about us afterwards.

Call and a person answers. If we can’t take it there and then, you’re given a time — not a promise to get back to you. Fifteen minutes is usually enough to know whether we’re the right fit.
